Novus Construction was appointed to deliver a full refurbishment of a third-floor apartment in Holland Park. The apartment was stripped back and rebuilt with a new layout, upgraded services, specialist finishes and a high level of coordination throughout.
The works included structural steel to reconfigure the layout, new mechanical and electrical installations, ducted air conditioning, DALI-controlled lighting, acoustic floor build-up, walnut herringbone flooring, bespoke kitchen installation, fitted wardrobes, bathrooms, decorative finishes and final handover.
Access and logistics were a key part of the project. The apartment was located on the third floor of a managed building, so materials and waste were moved using scaffold access and a rear hoist rather than through the communal entrance.
The main reception areas were reconfigured and finished with walnut herringbone flooring, brass inlay details, feature lighting and a new fireplace surround. The flooring and ceiling details were coordinated with the revised layout to create a consistent finish through the main living spaces.
The kitchen was fitted with dark oak cabinetry, green onyx worktops and brass details. Bespoke joinery was also installed across the bedrooms and storage areas, including high-gloss wardrobe fronts and integrated service details where required.
The bathrooms were rebuilt with new waterproofing, plumbing, sanitaryware, lighting and stone finishes. Onyx, marble and travertine finishes were used across the bathrooms, with recessed niches, shower enclosures, vanity areas and final sealing completed as part of the handover.
The result was a fully refurbished Holland Park apartment with a revised layout, upgraded services, coordinated lighting, walnut flooring, bespoke joinery, completed bathrooms and a clear handover. The project combined detailed finishes with careful site logistics in a managed residential building.
