The project

Three distinct bathrooms
within a high-end family townhouse

A private client engaged Novus Construction to refurbish three bathrooms within their family townhouse in Clapham Common. Each bathroom was stripped back and rebuilt with new waterproofing, plumbing, tiling, sanitaryware, fixtures and final finishes.

The brief was to give each bathroom its own character while keeping the finish consistent across the home. The navy tiled ensuite was designed for the son's bedroom, the pink tiled ensuite for the daughter's bedroom, and the teal tiled bathroom as the main family bathroom.

Son's ensuite

Navy herringbone, black fixtures
and a Crittall-style shower

The son's ensuite uses navy glazed herringbone tiles to create a bold feature inside the walk-in shower. The Crittall-style screen, matte black fixtures and floating vanity give the room a sharper, more architectural feel while keeping the layout practical for daily use.

Electric underfloor heating was installed to all three bathrooms, with DITRA matting used to the floors as part of the tiled floor build-up.
